2019 – Present

Life as a design consultant

Even though my title at Designit Oslo is User Experience Designer, I’ve had opportunities to work on various projects in different roles: UX designer, UX researcher, data visualisation specialist, digital designer, graphic designer and workshop facilitator from a public hospital to tech and financial industry. Because most of the projects are confidential, I only share snippets of selected projects here.

Facilitate ideation workshops for stakeholders

Planning and facilitating an ideation workshop to identify the current issues and solve them with the stakeholders and clients is also my responsibility as a UX designer. I have run the workshops both in the physical and digital environments.

User interview and test for validation

Rapid prototyping and testing it with users is a crucial step for finding out the blind spots for digital product design. Depending on the projects, I have conducted in-depth testing to validate the flow and also done some guerrilla testings in a contextual circumstance.

Heuristic analysis in UX design

I sometimes have joined a digital product design project as a challenger and analysed its UX and flow in a heuristic and critical approach.

Visualise ideas and data with a user-centric approach, from wireframe to development-ready UI

In the projects with Carlsberg and Cisco, I have tackled the data visualisation tasks within app development. I decoded the complex data and translated them into intuitive visualisation, and also tested with the users. Also, I usually have worked closely with developers in agile environments.

Illustrate pain points to improve the employee journey

We helped Diakonhjemmet, a psychological medical institute in Oslo, to determine their pain points in their blood testing and analysis process. I took a role as a visualiser and illustrated their pain points. We mapped out the illustrations onto their journey and had a workshop to sort out the severity of the points and prioritise what can be fixed first.

I have also enjoyed making a few graphics for Designit Oslo office’s instagram posts.
